I think the internet has provided an enormous boost to film criticism by giving people and opportunity to self publish or to find sites that are friendly” – Roger Ebert

Well, there you have it folks. I was fortunate to stumble on a quote by Ebert that pretty much hit the nail on the head as to why I even want to do this. I have had my writings on cinema published in a few magazines, the latest and probably the most favorite of mine in Projectorhead Magazine which I was fortunate to get an opportunity to write for. I implore you to click on the link to find some amazing writings by some really talented people.

So this page is dedicated to my personal reviews of films I happen to randomly (or maybe not so randomly) stumble upon throughout my daily life. I have been interested in film since I was probably around 5 years old and I first watched Spielberg’s Jurassic Park on VHS at home. It was the first time I literally could not get myself to turn away from the TV screen. All those Disney movies every parent in the 90’s dropped in their kids’ laps were great and entertaining, but I never felt more alive than when I watched that monstrous T-Rex chase a flare-carryingJeff Goldblum down that rainy, dirty road towards his jeep. There was something about live action and special effects that animation cinema just couldn’t compete with in my mind.

With all that said, I hope you enjoy reading what I have to say!
